Delivering Courtesy Copy Documents

While many courts have adopted electronic filing, many judges and agencies continue to need a physical copy of each court file. Often referred to as a courtesy copy, judge's copy, or chambers copy, this is an identical duplicate of the filed document that must be physically delivered to the same courtroom where it was filed.

This procedure is often known as "filing" documents with the court.
